Tuscan Dining Club

Dining Club returns from its summer break with a gorgeous Tuscan menu from Peter Zimoch, our Head Chef, and a wine tasting from Daniel O’Keefe from Hallgarten Druitt.
 
Hallgarten Druitt is one of the major wine merchants in the UK trade with a broad portfolio of over 1,000 wines from over 80 principals. They have a history going back over 70 years and are three time winners of the IWSC Importer of the Year trophy.

Starters & apéritif

Crema di porri.
Cream of leek with potato crisps V
 
Formaggio con le pere
Pear and pecorino cheese salad V
 
Crostini di fegato
Chicken liver crostini with frisee lettuce and aged balsamic drizzle
 
Tonno e fagioli
Chargrilled tuna medallion with cannellini bean salad
 
Followed by an introduction and wine tasting of four selected wines from Tuscany led by Daniel O’Keefe and an opportunity to order wine for your main course.

Sogliola alla florentina
Florentina style lemon sole with sautéed spinach and roasted baby potatoes
