Go on a spell-binding, prismatic musical voyage with Richard Durrant's Guitar Whisperer.

The show incorporates a Paraguan Dance Suite, a stunning arrangement of Debussy’s Arabesque and Durrant's unique take on Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells, played to footage of the Apollo Moon Landings.

After strumming an entertaining rendition of JS Bach on the humble Ukulele, he continues with Falla’s delightful La Vide Breve, followed by the story of the earliest surviving guitar by CF Martin, told with a musical twist.

“Extraordinary virtuosity… A simply unmissable treat.”
Classic FM Magazine 2009

“Amongst the greats of instrumental performance…”
