Can you judge a book by its cover?
The author of The Red Arrows book, Richard Baker, is coming to Bexhill.
Come and meet him an hear about his experiences during his nine months with the Red Arrows team.
He recounts his enthralling adventures with the Royal Airforce aerobatics team with equanimity. The text is backed by 150 stunning photographs.
The invitation he received to make a photographic record record of a landmark time in the history of the Red Arrows falls to few photographers.
Richards' continuing dream is that his experiences might inspire a young person to follow their dream.
"When I entered the inner sanctum of the Red Arrows, I had to pinch myself. As a dream in the Boy's Own tradition, this was the ultimate..."
The Red Arrows fly their 4000th display this year.
On Saturday 12th August, Richard will be at the De La Warr Pavilion from 11:15 to give a talk and to sign books.
This unique opportunity allows the purchaser to then take the book to Airborne Eastbourne the following weekend for the Red Arrows pilots to sign the book in their designated flying formation positions.
