Up tells the story of an elderly widower named Carl Fredricksen and an earnest young Wilderness Explorer named Russell who fly to South America in a house suspended by helium balloons. Up received five Academy Award nominations and was awarded with two Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Score in 2010.

Wrap up warm, bring a blanket for your knees and get ready to enjoy this special al fresco summer screening of Disney's Up, a "fantastically buoyant film which offers laughter, sorrow and swooning beauty" (Sukhdev Sandhu, The Telegraph, 8 October 2009)

Suitable for both adults and children, Up is the first of two family films screened over the bank holiday weekend outdoors. Click here for more information about Napoleon Dynamite on Sunday 29 August.

No need to book - just turn up. Wrap up warm and bring something for your knees! For more information call the Box Office on 01424 229 111
