A discussion between two of the UK's leading set designers.
Ralph Koltai is a key figure in post-war surreal/abstract set design. He was born in Germany and escaped to the UK in the mid-thirties as a young boy. After the war he began set design and taught at Central, where John Napier studied under him.
John, who designed the set for Ricochet's Man & Woman, is one of the world's leading set designers, having designed many of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musicals.
