The Mayors Variety Show, a charity concert in support of Bexhill Caring Community promises to be an occasion to remember with a unique "never to be seen again" bill bringing together some of the cream of the areas Youth and Community talent with professional artists who have local associations. Scheduled to appear are music groups Mad Fish Glee Club, Singing for Fun Choir, Renaissance Theatre Group with dance and physical performance from ESSPA and Acromax Gymnastics. Compere Adger Brown, one of the Souths' most in-demand comedians, will introduce these along with Special star guest Paul Roberts, former lead singer with the legendary Stranglers plus West End performers who have appeared in many hit musicals including Starlight Express, Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia, Cats, Singing in the Rain and the Queen musical We Will Rock You. There will be opera performance from leading ladies Emma Burnett and Judith Coleman and more comedy and magic from well known Hastings based funny man Bobby Lee. This one off show will be a great night of entertainment with something for everyone and is presented by the Mayor of Bexhill Mrs Frances Winterborn in association with Prima Artists.
