Outdoor Terrace 

Fresh from the success of its students in the BBC Young Dancer of the Year Competition 2015, Sujata Banerjee Dance Company will be exploring the roots of Spanish flamenco in Indian kathak dance. The afternoon’s performances will be concluded with a kathak dance workshop led by Sujata Banerjee.

Candoco Dance Company Associates Moxie Brawl perform Bringing a flamenco dress to life, based on a dress from the Bexhill Museum collection. Moxie Brawl are a group of disabled and non-disabled dancers who broaden perceptions of art and ability, placing people and collaboration at the heart of their work.

As part of the Journey Dance Festival (29-31 August 2015) between Rye, Hastings and Bexhill.

1.30pm - Sujata Banerjee Dance Company
1.50pm - Moxie Brawl perform Bringing a flamenco dress to life
2.20pm - Sujata Banerjee Dance Company
2.40pm - Break
3pm - Indian kathak dance workshop led by Sujata Banerjee
