A unique concert presenting works by some of today’s most renowned composers for film, television and other media in the world, many of them attending the concert and meeting the audience


With well-known music by some of the world's most famous composers for film, television and other media in the world, many of them attending the event and signing autographs.


Includes works by celebrated composers such as Nigel Hess (Royal Shakespeare Company, ‘Ladies In Lavender’), Patrick Hawes (former Classic FM Resident Composer, (The Incredible Mr Ritchie'), Steven Warbeck ('Shakespeare In Love',( 'Captain Corelli's Mandolin'), Ian Livingstone ('My Big Fat Weddings', 'Napoleon: Total War')


There will be also special performances of some of the most famous titles in the repertoire such as Hans Zimmer's 'Pirates Of The Caribbean', Debbie Wiseman's 'Wilde', 'A Poet In New York' and 'Wolf Hall', 'Schindler's List' by John Williams and many other beautiful soundtracks such as the ‘Tony Benn Suite’ by Michel Duvoisin (Canada/UK) the very evocative suite ‘The Tides Of Time’ by Polo Piatti (Argentina/UK), ‘Sex And Death’ by Andrew Cruickshank (Scotland), ‘Revealing Beauty’ by Chris Nicolaides, and many
others!

All works performed by the International Festival Orchestra, conducted by internationally renowned maestro Hiroshi Endo from Tokyo, Japan

Announcement: Oscar-winning composer Stephen Warbeck has decided to support the International Composers Festival in a different and very special way by not only attending but by performing himself during ‘A Feast Of Film Music’ at 7.30 Saturday 26 September. He will join the orchestra and play the accordion part of his world-famous ‘Captain Corelli’s Mandolin’ film theme!
