The De La Warr Pavilion in association with Chimera Productions, is delighted to present Four:Zero; the fifth programme of this original classical concert series which takes in the cornerstones of the solo, duo, trio and quartet repertoire.
This season, young performers select their own programme from a broad theme - Spain and Latin America. Imaginative and inspiring, each will feature a number of pivotal compositions of the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

A highly professional ensemble, the Muse String Quintet has performed in concert halls all across Europe, including the Royal Albert Hall's Elgar Room, The National Gallery, Britten Theatre, Royal Academy of Art and St. Martin in the Fields.
In 2010, the Quintet was awarded 2nd prize at the 18th International Chamber Music Competition '18è Concurs Josep Mirabent i Margrans' in Spain, before embarking on a collaboration with the London Russian Ballet School. Taking place in the Britten Theatre, these charity concerts involved the synthesis of dance and music. Recently they undertook a residency at the Latimer Upper School and were appointed as artists of the Park Lane Group, an organisation dedicated to creating opportunities for young people.
In September 2011 they took the position of the Richard Carne Junior Fellowship for Chamber Music with Piano at the RCM. The Muse Quintet is extremely grateful for the generosity and support of Mr Philip Carne who has made the scheme possible.
