The creative network for primary and secondary teachers has returned! Working with artist Sheridan Quigley we will be looking at the new exhibition Moving Portraits and considering the many ways in which the artists reveal their subjects and how they prompt us to look afresh at the genre of portraiture.
We will then experiment with practical exercises in the gallery space using shadow projection, drawing and collage to explore different ideas for creating portraits and revealing the person behind the face. These activities have been designed to help you engage your students with the exhibition on an independent visit or within a practical workshop at the school or the pavilion.
Booking essential. For bookings please contact Natalie Trimby on 01424 229103 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
