'Shakespeare Songs’ 1564-2015 (The Seven Ages of Man)

Battle Festival's latest commission!
Distinguished actor Bill Fellows and composer Tony Biggin were challenged to reinterpret Shakespeare's classic Seven Ages of Man speech for a contemporary audience. Their response is a typically insightful and witty version that will be performed in two concerts by pupils from local primary schools supported by a quintet of professional musicians. Adding to the festivity will be performances by percussion and recorder ensembles from Hastings and Rother Music Centre.

Concert 1, 5.30pm
Schools: Catsfield, Crowhurst, Netherfield, Ninfield, Sedlescombe, Saxon Mount

Concert 2, 7.30pm  
Schools: Chantry, Pebsham, St Mary Magdalen, St Mary Star of the Sea, St Peter and St Paul
