Established nine years ago in West London, the David Sinclair Four has released three albums: Hey (2006), Threewheeling (2008), Take Me There (2011) and a limited-edition vinyl single, “America, Here's My Boy”, written by Beck, which was released on Record Store Day 2013. Guest contributors on Take Me There include Paul Jones, Robin Trower, Andy White and Richard J. Parfitt.
The group led by singer, songwriter and guitarist David Sinclair has recently expanded to a four-piece with the addition of lead guitarist Geoff Peel. The new line-up, which also includes Jos Mendoza (bass) and Jack Sinclair (drums), is currently recording its fourth album with Livingstone Brown (of Robin Trower’s band) in the producer’s chair and Paul Jones, once again, guesting on harmonica.
With their hard-hitting brand of London blues-rock, the David Sinclair Four has built a formidable reputation as a live attraction, sharing stages with Wilko Johnson, the Oli Brown Band, Marcus Bonfanti, Johnny Dowd, John Otway, Willie Nile (UK Spring Tour 2013) and many others.
