Probably Shakespeare’s most famous comedy and the original battle of the sexes!

To celebrate the author’s 450th birthday, Bexhill Amateur Theatrical Society are mounting this epic, lavish and colourful production, set in the sophisticated style of Gatsby’s 1920’s. Glittering period costumes, singers and dancers, will help make this a rare and different theatre experience.

The disenchanted Petruchio is marrying for money. The fiery and beautiful Katharina is marrying against her will. They both want to be in charge – and amidst the fighting and screaming, they don’t notice that they may be accidentally falling in love.

It’s the story everyone thinks they know – but they really don’t...
