The disciples of visual art and music are intimately linked. To complement the season's exploration into this theme, Chris Yetton will chair a discussion that looks at this relationship, how visual artists have been inspired by music and the particular musical qualities of abstract art.

Colour, tone, repetition, rhythm, chance, form, structure, time, the infinite... particular reference will be made to the current exhibitions of James Hugonin and Ian Stephenson. Contributors include David Ryan and Orlando Gough.

Chris Yetton recently retired as Fine Art Course Director at Chelsea College of Art & Design. He has lectured, written and published extensively on issues in contemporary art.
